Overview

Stacey's Style sells authenticated, pre-owned luxury, mostly vintage Chanel jewelry, bags, and ready-to-wear, curated by Stacey and shown every Sunday at noon Eastern on her Instagram live. The shop had grown up on WordPress and WooCommerce, which treated each piece like stock on a shelf. SmartQix rebuilt it as a custom Laravel shop with its own cart, checkout, and admin, moved the products, photos, and past orders across, kept the old web addresses working, and launched it on staceysstyle.com in September 2026.

The challenge

Every piece is one of a kind. Two shoppers can fall for the same bag during a live show, so the shop has to hold an item while someone checks out and release it if they walk away. Most sales start on Instagram, so the website has to follow the weekly show rather than compete with it. And the old store held years of products, photos, orders, and Google Shopping listings that could not be lost in the move.

What we built

We built the shop around the piece. Each product carries its item number, the same number Stacey uses on the live, and a reservation holds it while a shopper pays through Stripe, releasing it automatically if payment never comes. A countdown to the next Sunday show runs along the top of every page, the Stacey's Live page explains how claiming a piece works, and sold pieces stay in an archive so shoppers can see what Stacey finds and ask her to source one. Behind it, a Filament admin gives Stacey her orders to ship, products with drafts and go-live times, a media library, email templates, shipping zones, sales tax, sales and inventory reports, and team roles. The WooCommerce products, photos, and orders were imported, old addresses kept working, and the Google product feed carried on so existing listings were not lost.
