Twelve years, one steady direction

    Founded in Accra

    Ricky Nkansah starts Nakroteck, a hosting and web company serving Ghanaian businesses.
  2. 2018

    Rebranded to SmartQix

    The studio moves beyond hosting into custom web and mobile software.
  3. 2020

    Columbus office opens

    A US base in Columbus, Ohio brings the team closer to North American clients.
  4. 2023

    Products of our own

    SikaBooks, Sankofa Library, and SmartHome Ghana ship, proving the team can take a product from idea to market.
