LIMS Home Care
A warm, reassuring website for a licensed Maryland home care agency: nine services explained plainly, a clear four-step path to starting care, and a caregiver application that recruits from the same site.
Overview
The Lord Is My Shepherd Home Care, known as LIMS Home Care, is a licensed home care agency in Hagerstown, Maryland founded by Samantha Green. It provides personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, homemaking, errands and transportation, surgical recovery, respite, travel care, and companionship and memory care for seniors, on schedules from a few hours a day to round-the-clock. SmartQix designed and built the website to earn the trust of families making a difficult decision, explain exactly what care looks like, and recruit the certified caregivers the agency depends on.
The challenge
Two very different audiences arrive at a home care site. Adult children researching care for a parent need reassurance, clear service descriptions, and a low-pressure first step. Caregivers looking for work need requirements, pay and schedule expectations, and a simple way to apply. Both are often on a phone, and both are deciding whether to trust a small local agency over a national brand. The site had to serve both without diluting either.
What we built
For families, the home page opens on "Elderly care right at home" and moves through the promise, flexible scheduling, safety, the founder's own story, and what makes the agency different, before a four-step "how care starts" section that ends in a free consultation. Each of the nine services has a plain-language description with an "ask about this service" link, and the specialities, testimonials from a nurse care manager and a social worker, and a licensing and background-check section answer the trust questions directly. For caregivers, a dedicated careers page lays out the requirements, training, and shift options, and an application form with certification type, experience, availability, cover letter, and resume upload sends applications straight to the agency. Care line and office hours, two phone numbers, and the address sit on the contact page with a message form.
